About Lisa & Lyndsay

About Lisa:
I’m a junior at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill majoring in Photojournalism and American History with a minor in Arabic. I have been interested in photography for a long time, but only really started studying it my senior year of high school on a film camera. I also work off and on for UNC’s Daily Tar Heel and was an assistant photo editor last year. I recently won a College Photographer of the Year award of excellence.
I shoot mainly with my Canon 50D I got off Craigslist and bought out of the back of a minivan in front of the Barnes & Noble in Brier Creek. I also use a rented 20D. I shoot typically with my beloved EF-S 17-55mm f/2.8 IS USM lens and a borrowed 70-200 f/2.8L or 50mm f/1.8. Sometimes I break out my trusty old Nikon D40x with its kit zoom lens (18-55 f3.5-5.6).
