Deep Magic

Sharing with you some stuff from last year that never got a chance to be posted, here are some shots from a hilarious magic show the ArtsCenter hosted at the end of last year. Featuring two hilarious and talented magicians, Micah Cover and Joshua Lozoff , the show had the audience cracking up. I’ve tried to describe some of the magic tricks in the captions. And, as always, don’t forget to click more!

Joshua Lozoff talks to the audience during his show.

Enlisting an audience member's help, Lozoff turns a plastic egg into a real one, and cracks it over the stage.

Lozoff gets an audience member to pick a word from his list, and then correctly guesses which word she picked.

Lozoff shows an audience volunteer that he correctly guessed the word she had picked at random from a page in a magazine.

Lozoff teaches an audience member how to make one red ball turn into several!

Micah Cover begins his show by lighting a candle.

Cover suspends a paper rose, seemingly with no strings or other support.

An audience member straps Cover into a straight jacket.

Cover begins to work himself free.

Micah finishes freeing himself from the straight jacket.
