Transactors: Gratitude

The Transactors improv troupe was back at the ArtCenter on Friday night. Just in time to get everyone in the Thanksgiving spirit, this month’s show featured skits with the theme of gratitude. Check out some photos of the event below!

Rachel Klem strikes a pose on stage as the Transactors introduce the audience to their characters, who were based on three randomly chosen adjectives.

Nancy Pekar, playing the ghettofabulous Natalie who works as a waitress, comforts Anoo Brod, playing Janice, a distraught artsy college student.

Steven Warnock and Rachel Klem's scheming college student characters devise a plan to deflower Anoo Brod's character.

Dan Sipp strikes a pose as Darrell, a proud gay man.

The offstage Transactors laugh at their fellow improv troupe members' onstage shenanigans.

Dan Sipp is a statue while Greg Hohn plays lusty art history professor Dr. Dumly opposite Anoo Brod's insecure college student.

Nancy Pekar and Rachel Klem play statues in the art history classroom.
