YPAC Hip Hop/Street Dance Workshop for Teens

The Youth Performing Arts Conservatory held an intense week-long workshop on hip hop and street dance for teens last week taught by Virginia Queen Danford. By the end of the week, the group had learned the moves to an entire song. Shots are below!

Registration opens on the 8th for more YPAC classes. Click here for more information.

Dancers, led by Virginia on the right, check their moves in the mirror as they practice their dance for the last time before performing in front of their parents. Click "more" below to see more!

The group practices the beginning to their dance, performed to a song by Zola, an African band.

Dancers strut their stuff as the group performs walks, one of the first things they learned, for their parents.

Virginia Queen Danford tells her students and their parents that the group has far exceeded her expectations and learned more than she thought they could in a week.
