Photonight LIII

Photonight is tonight! 7:30 in Carroll Hall 33. The speaker tonight has been Director of Photography at National Geographic and Multimedia Editor at The Washington Post. I’m excited.

Below is the message from my professor about tonight with more info.


We are very pleased to announce Tom Kennedy will be our guest for PhotoNight LIII, Thursday, Oct. 15 from 7:30-9:00p.m. in Carroll Hall, room 33. Please note that due to Tom’s availability next week this is a departure from our usual schedule. It will be well worth it!

Tom Kennedy is an internationally-known visual journalist with extensive experience in print and online journalism, including positions as Managing Editor for Multimedia at The Washington Post and Director of Photography for the National Geographic Magazine. He has created, directed, and edited visual journalism projects that have earned Pulitzer Prizes, as well as EMMY, Peabody, and Edward R. Murrow awards.
