Carrboro Music Festival: Bored Before 3:00

I’m going to be doing semi-live coverage today of the bands playing at the ArtsCenter as part of the Carrboro Music Festival today, and I’m super excited about it! I’ve set up camp in the ArtsCenter and I’ll be updating this thing band by band (as time allows).

I was so excited about this festival that I accidentally got to the ArtsCenter three hours before any bands started performing. Oops. Following this are some shots I took while wandering around the rest of the festival!

ArtsCenter bands start at 3:00 with the Magnolia Klezmer Band (they play “old time Jewish party music,” I’m intrigued) in the Earl and Rhoda Wynn Theater and Gypsy Town (“original ‘southern California style’ folk-rock”) in the West End Theater. Here’s a full schedule!
