Mangum & Company Shout Band

Friday, The ArtsCenter was proud to welcome its first gospel band straight from the House of Prayer For All People of Charlotte as part of the 8th Annual American Roots Series.

This was hands-down one of the best shows I’ve seen at The ArtsCenter, and I’ve seen quite a few! The band had incredible energy that brought the audience to its feet. Photos are below!

The band had four trombones, with Mr. Mangum (left) on lead.

For the band's last song before the audience brought them back for an encore, band members played "When the Saints Go Marching In" and marched through the audience.
